We take a closer look at the largest superyachts that is present at the Mediterranean waters of Monaco.

Set in the iconic Port Hercules in the principality of Monaco, the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 represents the pinnacle of luxury. Each year, the Monaco Yacht Show curates the exhibition of 125+ extraordinary one-off superyachts built by the world’s most respected shipyards. The event also welcomes leaders from the yachting industry and a large audience of yacht fans from around the world. This years edition of the Monaco Yacht Show will feature even more superyachts, with the largest being 111 meter in length!

The five largest yachts by length at Monaco Yacht Show 2019

Nr. 5 BOLD by SilverYachts

At fifth place we have the 85 meter BOLD yacht from Australia’s premier luxury yacht builder SilverYachts. The yacht, which has been designed in collaboration with renowned yacht designer Espen Øino, features a high performance and low weight hull dramatically reducing fuel consumption. Superyachts has not the best track record of being friendly to the climate, but the yacht industry has started to pick up it’s pace in reducing the carbon offprint.

The BOLD yacht offers eight cabins including the Owner’s suite, three VIP Guest cabins, and four guest cabins.  The Owner’s suite includes a master cabin, his and hers ensuite and a private salon. In total the yacht can accommodate for up to 16 guests and 21 crew members. The yacht moves away from the traditional classic design with a longer than usual aft deck. This space is used for the helicopter pad which enables the owner to arrive or depart the yacht in style.

Nr. 4 DreAMBoat by Oceanco

At fourth place we find the 90 meter long DreAMBoat by Oceanco Shipyards. The exterior of this superyacht is designed by Espen Øino while the interior is the work of Terence Disdale Design. The Yacht features a classic profile with its generous overhangs from the superstructure and cutouts in the bulwarks lending a traditional timeless appearance.

The exterior deck areas flow seamlessly into the interior spaces maintaining continuity and consistency. With it’s 90-metre, the yacht is spacious enough to bring a whole group of friends, with cabins for a total of 23 guests including 33 crew members.

Her outdoor spaces and amenities include a large swimming pool located on the main aft deck, a huge partially enclosed sundeck with Jacuzzi and numerous spaces for relaxing and entertaining. In addition, the owner’s deck also benefits from a private Jacuzzi. 

The interiors on board the 90-metre yacht DreAMBoat features an amazing attention to detail. Almost every element on the inside, from the lighting to the furniture, is custom made. As for materials, her chic interior incorporates bespoke surfaces, natural wood, limestone floors, semi-precious stone vanities, parchment, leather and mother of pearl.

Nr. 3 Phoenix II by Lürssen

At number three we find the prestigious 90 meter yacht Phoenix II, built by the renowned German shipyard Lürssen. It’s size and accommodations makes this yacht one of the most luxurious charter vessels in the world today. She was built in 2010 and last refitted in 2019 just in time for the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

The talented designer Andrew Winch is responsible for both, her exterior and interior, where he incorporated elegant and sleek lines. Phoenix II has more than 100 meters of stainless steel handrails that have been uniquely shaped and installed to fit these lines. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. What makes this yacht unique is the giant sculpted phoenix figurehead that sits proudly on the prow on this magnificent yacht.

Her sundeck offers a generous swimming pool with separate Jacuzzi and an exterior cinema. The sky lounge opens to an inside/out dining area complete with glass screens creating the ultimate dining experience. The owner’s suit is a beautiful full beam Deco Duplex reminiscent of New York in the 1930’s and offers breathtaking views of the sea. The Phoenix II yacht is definitely one of the most beautiful yachts ever created and will certainly be one to watch at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

Nr. 2 Amadea by Lürssen

The second largest yacht featured in this year’s Monaco Yacht Show is the 106 meter Amadea by Lürssen shipyard. This will be the first time ever that the superyacht, by many regarded as one of the most exclusive in the world, is presented at the yacht show. The Lürssen shipyard has hired the Monaco-based yacht broker Imperial Yachts to find a buyer.

Amadea is setting new boundaries in the superyacht industry, for the 100-110m range. Since her delivery and even today, very few superyachts can pretend having such level of completion and detailing.

The yacht is designed by Espein Øino and can welcome up to 22 guests cruising and 16 guests sleeping in her 8-cabins layout.

On the upper deck, there is a sun-exposed section along the aft for sunbathing from the aft-facing L-shaped sofas placed near the fire pit, while a circular dining table is placed under the shade and can extend to serve up to 18 guests. The walk-around side decks connect to the foredeck, where you also will find a large Jacuzzi.

Nr. 1 TIS by Lürssen

The largest yacht coming to the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 is the 111 meter TIS by, you guessed it, Lürssen shipyard. The yacht is one of Lürssens latest creations having its maiden trip in the Mediterranean sea in June this year.

With an interior and exterior styling by Andrew Winch Design, TIS features 2 helicopter pads, a 12 meter swimming pool, a resort inspired spa in the aft of the vessel, and palatial staircases that to date have only been seen in palaces. 

The yacht accommodates 18 people on board, which are located in nine luxuriously furnished cabins. The master apartments have a place on the upper deck. The Owner’s suite is fitted with a skylight and two fixed balconies.

TIS is packed with features for it’s owner and guests to enjoy. Some of the more notable features is two unique cinemas located both indoor and out. The outdoor cinema can also be used as a dancefloor should the guests feel the need to take a swing on the high seas.
